  • CREATING A MORE EFFICIENT SYSTEM FOR THOSE WHO USE THE CRA OFFICE: I led efforts to digitize many of our historical records and documents, and am committed to making the office more transparent and accessible to the public.

  • Modernizing our Voting System - Protecting your vote & securing the election system is my top priority. With 13 years of hands on elections experience, I will lead staff and the public through this process: from selection to implementation.
  • Assessor Division Fire Recovery – In 2018/19 we will begin the process for those affected by the fires. We will need to work together so we can help our community recover, and likely bring in additional staff to meet these needs.
  • Greater staff inclusion – A new effort for our department, employees need to feel comfortable bringing issues to department leaders so we can deal with them fairly and honestly, and everyone benefits from the improvements, especially the public.

Ray was a committee member for the Petaluma River Festival serving as Youth Program Coordinator.  Ray also is a member of the California Association of Clerks and Elections Officials.
